“Homegoing, is the first ‘Wednesday Feels,’ piece I have written in ages, if not years, that is inspired by” Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.
Just like the novel, it’s a reminder that there are always aspects to this life beyond our control, guiding us to a place far removed from our reality, — an invisible hand pulling the cogs and leading us to a place where we never thought we needed to be, but needed to be, and I think that this is the phase of life I now find myself in.”
