Learning To Write Again
It’s been many moons since we wrote,
But we’ve felt these emotions every single day;
The emotions that allowed us to write,
And feel all that we were, and still are,
Why did you stay away then?
That’s a question without a simple answer,
There was pain, there was anguish, and there was loss;
But we are slowly picking up the pieces,
We are slowly learning to come back to ourselves,
Slowly learning to write again,
And make you feel all that we once felt,
And I am sorry in case you felt abandoned, but I am coming back, albeit slowly.
