LEMONS INTO LEMONADE: BACK TO WRITING AND LIFE UPDATE
2025: Maybe a year of hope and resilience and thriving.
LEMONS INTO LEMONADE
The last couple of weeks have been nothing but hard, but now, more than ever, I am grateful in a way, that I am somehow still here, somehow still alive and somehow still moving despite all the losses that came with all that was the last quarter of 2024!
I wish this post was about how I have recovered and bounced back from last year; and all I had lost, but it isn't. It is far from that, none of what was lost last year has been recovered.
However, this post is about my resolve to somehow keep going! And I want to keep holding onto that; despite everything that is happening now, and all that will come of this year! I know the lemons will never stop coming, however, I hope we can always keep making lemonade out of all the lemons that life will throw at us this year.
BACK TO POSTING
That said, I have a bit of exciting news!
One thing I have definitely learnt in this period, especially about myself, is that I am a writer and a poet, and despite everything else that has happened, and is constantly happening; I want to keep writing - it's one of the few beauties of life that make me feel alive; and I am excited to announce that I will be back to posting in the next two weeks!
I won't go back to posting everyday (unless that changes), but I will be curating my posts all week and posting about 7 poems every Sunday, starting in the next two weeks!
This has always been a labor of love, and I can't wait to share with you all that we will explore in the coming weeks, months and years!
POEMS POETRY FAMILY
I have always felt like all the interactions I have built and had over the last couple of years, have evolved into a beautiful family, and I want to maintain the beauty of this family and community moving forward.
